I like it, could be better

It's a big old carpet that looks really nice in our living room. It makes a cold stone floor much warmer to walk over in winter. The size is correct and it's claimed to be machine washable which is a real bonus as it's going under our main dining table.

Love this item great quality

This rug has made a lovely difference to the room, adding a soft, comfortable feel while giving the space a stylish vintage finish. The grey taupe colour is particularly easy to work with and blends nicely with the existing décor.

Smart looking rug for busy homes

On a rainy Saturday I unrolled the 300x400 cm beige rug in front of the sofa while my 7 year old built an elaborate train track and my 5 year old conducted a biscuit test, and it handled both admirably. It's machine woven polyester with a soft microfiber surface and OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 certification so I'm not paranoid when the kids sit on it. And the 5 mm low pile means doors still open and I can shove the sofa back without a fight. And yes, it's machine washable at 30°C on a gentle cycle, which I tested after a rogue juice spill.

Simple Vintage Design

I really like the simple beige colour and vintage design of this rug. It would look lovely in a living room or bedroom and go well with different styles of furniture. The large size is useful for covering a good area of the floor, especially in a spacious room.

Nice design and good quality

I really like the look of this rug. The beige colour is lovely and neutral, so it works really well with different colours and furniture without being too overpowering. The vintage-style pattern adds a bit of character while still keeping the overall look quite subtle.

A living-room rug I can actually chuck in the wash, with two kids and a dog it's a godsend

Looks-wise it's lovely too. The vintage blue medallion pattern has a soft, faded, characterful look that hides the day-to-day marks brilliantly between washes, and it's lifted the whole room. At 160 by 230cm it's a proper generous size that anchors the sofa and coffee table nicely. It's a low-pile with a bit of a sponge backing, so it's comfy enough underfoot and, importantly, the backing grips so it doesn't slide about on our wood floor or ruck up when the kids charge across it. The edges are neatly finished and feel like they'll last.

Huge low-pile rug that fills a large room without feeling bulky

The surface has a soft microfiber feel, but the pile is only around 5mm, which keeps it practical. Furniture can sit on it without sinking in too much, doors have a better chance of clearing it, and it is much easier to vacuum than a thick shaggy rug. The reinforced edges also help it feel more finished and should reduce fraying around such a large perimeter.
