Returns

 

We want you to love what you ordered. If something isn't right, you can return most items within 30 days of delivery.

 

How to return an item

 

Email us first at hello@jshop.ie with your order number and the reason for the return. Please do not post anything back before contacting us, we will reply with the correct return address and simple instructions for your specific item. Returns sent without contacting us first may be delayed or lost.

 

Conditions

 

Within 14 days of delivery (your legal right to cancel): you can return an item for any reason. You may open and inspect it as you would in a shop. If it has been handled more than needed to inspect it, for example assembled, used, or returned without its original packaging, we will reduce the refund to reflect the loss in value, up to the full price if it can no longer be sold.

 

From day 15 to day 30 (our extra goodwill period): we accept returns only of items that are unused, unassembled, in their original packaging and in resaleable condition. Items that have been used or assembled cannot be returned in this period.

 

For flat-pack furniture, please do not assemble the item if you may want to return it. Return shipping for change-of-mind returns is paid by the customer unless we agree otherwise. As a guide, return postage typically costs around €30, and up to €50 for large or heavy items such as furniture.

 

Damaged or faulty items

 

If your item arrives damaged or develops a fault, contact us at hello@jshop.ie with photos within 48 hours of delivery where possible. We will arrange a replacement, repair, or full refund, at no cost to you. Nothing in this policy limits your statutory rights under Irish and EU consumer law, including your 14-day right of withdrawal for online purchases.

 

Refunds

 

Once your return is received and inspected, we will confirm by email and issue your refund to the original payment method within 14 days. If a refund has not appeared after 10 working days, contact us and we will chase it for you.
