Terms & Conditions

These terms apply when you buy from jshop.ie. Please read them with our Refund Policy, Shipping Policy and Privacy Policy, which form part of them.

1. Who we are

jshop.ie is run by JSHOP, based in Ireland, Unit 25B Willsborough Industrial Estate, Clonshaugh, Dublin, D17 AE67, Ireland. Email hello@jshop.ie. We reply 7 days a week.

2. Your order and our contract

When you place an order you'll get an email confirming we've received it. Our contract with you starts when we confirm your order. If we can't supply an item (for example, it is no longer available or the price shown was a clear error) we'll tell you by email and refund anything you paid for it in full, straight away.

3. Prices and payment

Prices are in euro and are the full price you pay. Delivery is free. You can pay by card, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Revolut Pay or Klarna. Card payments are processed securely by Shopify Payments; we never see or store your card details.

4. Delivery

We deliver to the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland, and to Great Britain. Most orders arrive in 3 to 7 days; the dates for your order are shown before you pay. The items become yours, and your responsibility, once they are delivered to you. Full details are in our Shipping Policy.

5. Changing your mind

You have a legal right to cancel an online order within 14 days of the day you receive it, without giving a reason. We give you longer: you can return most items within 30 days of delivery. Email hello@jshop.ie first and we'll send the return details. Within those first 14 days you may open and inspect an item as you would in a shop; if it has been handled more than that (for example assembled, used or without its original packaging) we reduce the refund to reflect the loss in value, up to the full price. From day 15 to day 30 we accept only items that are unused, unassembled and in their original packaging. Please don't assemble flat-pack furniture you may want to return. Unless we agree otherwise, you pay the return postage when you change your mind. As a guide, return postage typically costs around €30, and up to €50 for large or heavy items such as furniture. We refund you, including the original delivery charge if there was one, within 14 days of receiving the item back, to your original payment method. Full details are in our Refund Policy.

6. Damaged or faulty items

Everything we sell must be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality. If an item arrives damaged or develops a fault, email us with photos and we'll arrange a replacement, a repair or a full refund, at no cost to you. These rights come from the Consumer Rights Act 2022 and nothing in these terms reduces them.

7. Product information

We take care to describe and photograph products accurately. Colours on screen can vary slightly, and sizes are approximate within the manufacturer's tolerances. If something isn't as described, section 6 applies.

8. Our responsibility to you

If we break these terms we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of that. We don't exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for your statutory rights as a consumer. We are not responsible for business losses: our products are sold for domestic and private use.

9. Using our website

You may use jshop.ie to browse and buy for your own use. Please don't misuse the site, copy its content for commercial use or try to interfere with how it works.

10. Your information

We use your details to deliver your order and look after you. How we handle personal data is in our Privacy Policy.

11. Complaints

If you're unhappy with anything, email hello@jshop.ie and we'll do our best to put it right. You can also contact the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (ccpc.ie) for information about your rights, or use the Small Claims procedure of the District Court.

12. Law and courts

These terms are governed by Irish law. You can bring a claim in the courts of Ireland, or, if you live in Northern Ireland, in the courts of Northern Ireland. If you live elsewhere, you keep any protection that the law of the country where you live gives you.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version on the site when you place your order is the one that applies to that order.
