Lovely quality but does slip on laminate floor
This is a large sized rug at 160x230cm and is ideal for covering a big area. The colour is nice, and the pile is soft and feels luxurious to walk on. It arrived vacuum packed and had quite a lot of creases when first put down, but after about twenty four hours these had mostly flattened out. The backing is non-slip, and this is certainly the case if you're laying it over existing carpet, where it holds well in place and doesn't ruck up. However, if you're planning on using this on Lino, vinyl or laminate flooring, you might want to consider using the rug gripper mats because it was quite slipp
Soft washable rug with a modern design that stays firmly in place
Once it was laid out, it didn't take too long for the folds from packaging to completely disappear and it settled completely flat. The 160 x 230cm size works well for defining a seating area, and it made the living room feel warmer straight away. The tufted finish is soft underfoot without having a deep pile that traps every bit of dirt, so it's comfortable to walk across while still feeling practical for everyday use. Exactly the kind of simple rug we were looking for
Although it has a fairly simple design, that is actually one of its biggest strengths. It does not go out of style easily and should fit into most homes without clashing with existing furniture or decorations. If your taste changes over time, a neutral rug like this is much easier to work with than something heavily patterned.
