A floating TV unit fixes straight to the wall, so the floor underneath stays clear. It makes a small living room look bigger and makes hoovering far easier. You also choose the height yourself, which helps if the TV is going above a low sofa or you want it at eye level from the bed.

The wall matters. Solid brick or block takes ordinary plugs and screws.
