Those hinges won't last long without a lot of TLC. Nice otherwise

The finished product is pretty good but I have very little confidence that the hinged lid will survive the rigours of domestic life for long. The screws in the hinges are very short. Also, some members of the family will be tempted to sit on it, and I wouldn't recommend that unless they're children of maybe 12 or younger. Sooner or later, it could break if it were to be used too often as somewhere to sit.
