Brilliant Bit of Kit – Would Highly Recommend - Rock Solid, Versatile, and Easy to Assemble

I’ve been building up my home gym bit by bit, and this MERAH weight bench has quickly become one of my favourite pieces of equipment. First off, the build quality is excellent and it feels solid and stable even under heavy loads. The frame is made from thick steel, and nothing wobbles or creaks, even during bench presses or incline work. It’s rated to 450kg, which gives you real peace of mind if you’re lifting heavy.

The very lowest decline setting isn't really useful for sit-ups because that exposes a large gap between the pads and digs into your lower back. However, the second decline setting is fine and works well for sit-ups, I've noticed a real difference in the muscles worked as compared to doing them from a flat surface.

MERACH Foldable Weight Bench - 990 LBS/450KG capacity - for Home Gym Use

£100 is about the right price point for this bench. Well made, quick and easy to assemble. It is lighter than I had imagined, but that isn't really a problem. Makes it easier to move around my garage, and it folds well for storage. The adjustments are good and easy to change - both the back rest and the seat can be adjusted, which is really good and gives this bench excellent versatility for various types of exercises. It is fairly sturdy and I feel safe using it. As you would expect at this price point, it is not commercial grade, but for a home gym it is a good bit of kit, hence 5 stars.

Excellent

This bench is fantastic. I was expecting to have to put it together myself, but it was already done. The only thing I had to do was attach the foot bar and put on the foam. It is really sturdy, very easy to use and the back and the seat are very comfortable. It is definitely worth the money and I think it will last a very long time.

Good bench with quick setup/tear down for storage

It takes 10 seconds to set up. There are 2 pins, one to lock the butt pad angle in and then that goes between the pads to lock the entire bench in place. This one is important, otherwise the bench may fold up during use.
