No assembly required, easy to install, there are three mounting holes on the basket.

Excellent planter gives a very decorative look.
Very Pleased with this product - Sturdy planter made of cast iron. While it is on the smaller side, the dimensions are accurate which enables a person to judge it's size before ordering. I did not care for the liner however- so I removed it and lined the basket with sheet moss. I felt it gives the planter a more elevated look.
