I was a bit reluctant to buy due to the negative responses. BUT what a great bit of kit. All parts were there, easy to assemble ( you need to use a bit of common sense at times ) and if confused you have the picture as a reference.

Serious bit of gardening equipment
So much better than plastic lightweight stuff that is very hard to rewind and jams up during unwinding and use
Good solid hose reel should last for years
This is a well build hose reel, solid and relatively easy to assemble. I did not find the instructions that difficult to follow if you use a little common sense. It works well, the brass fittings are sturdy and connect to my hose well. I also use brass fittings on my hose, so did not have any leakage problems. Can't say if using plastic ones would be less watertight. Very pleased overall.

Very good and strong works well
Robust and well made
This is very good quality robust and great value. My only quibble is that the water inlet connector is “fixed” to the reel so make sure the hose is disconnected or the reel wont spin freely. I have a lot of ground to cover so may invest in another one. Using them as extensions to my wall fixed hoses.
