Easy to assemble and versatile, but not as heavy-duty as advertised.
I wouldn’t describe it as massively robust though. It’s perfectly adequate for normal household or garage storage, but I wouldn’t want to load each shelf anywhere near its claimed maximum capacity. Overall, it’s a versatile shelving unit that’s good value, provided your expectations are realistic.
Incredibly strong
I've filled the shelves with electric tools, electric cleaning equipment, jet washers, terracotta plant pots, electric garden tools and equipment, decorating equipment, compost, plant feeds, and other bits and bobs and it's not collapsed, not even sagging in the middle, it's amazingly strong.
Shelves
The only tiny thing I’d change is the decorative edge. Quite strangely, in my opinion, it sits underneath each shelf rather than above it, where it could have acted as a guard to help stop things sliding off. Also, smaller items need to be stored in boxes or trays to stop them falling through the gaps, although placing a solid base on each shelf easily solves that issue.
Very Sturdy Shelves And Versatile
They have helped so much with keeping our garage organised. I have some heavier items on the bottom shelves and lighter on top, with no signs of bowing or wobbling at all after a month. The wheels are also handy for moving it out of needed!
Easy to Use, Great for Storage, but Not the Toughest
The weight capacity is decent—I’ve stacked a fair bit on each shelf and haven’t seen any bending or wobbling for now. However, I do feel the structure isn’t quite as tough as some heavier-duty units I’ve seen. For everyday home use, it works well, but I do wonder how it would hold up with really heavy items or over a longer period.
