Steel Long Fruit Cage Frame with Bird Netting

These are great.

I’ve got 2 of these, one for my raspberries and another for my blueberries. The one for my blueberries is 2 years old now and hasn’t show any signs of rusting out, the netting is still fine. They are very easy to put together and you don’t need to use the whole length, which was lucky for me cos I didn’t bother to measure how long it is and work out if it would fit where I wanted it! When I put it together I realised that it was way too long for the space but then I realised that I could take out one section and it would fit perfectly over my blueberries. Very good purchase!

I bought this in June 2022. The photo was taken 2025 . I just wanted to share how well it has lasted and I am still delighted with it. I take the netting off after the fruit has been harvested and put it back on again the next year as we approach summer. It is so easy to put the netting on and off. Highly recommend!

Finally, we have fruit!

This easy to assemble and use fruit cage is large enough to hold two mature blueberry bushes, along with pots full of gooseberry, raspberry and strawberry plants. We’ve never had more than one or two blueberries off the bushes, as the birds have always got there first, but this year we’ve had crop after crop. It’s really easy to get in and out of the cage to collect the fruit, too. A great value purchase.

Excellent for our raised beds

we have raised beds 1m x 3m; cages first class, we only use them at half height; covered with decent netting draped outside the edges of the beds and with netting foot attached by cable-ties to a loop of heavy rope surrounding the bed. Just lift it where required and drop again, proof against rabbits etc. These excellent cages are key to the whole thing, so good we bought four of them.
