The remote control box can be placed anywhere in the room and I can turn on the lamp before you walk over to the table. I love this feature because you set up the lighting away from the desk your lamp is fixed to before you get to the desk, or set it up from the buttons on the lamp itself you choose.

Really, really impressed with the quality at this price. Absolutely love the remote control pod, makes things so much more convenient than trying to find the buttons on the lamp itself. The brightness, light colour options etc are fab. It's really nice and bright and there's loads of adjustment for height and position/rotation of the light bars, perfect. The only things I'd warn about is the need for clearance between the lamp and a wall, eg if you're using it on a desk which backs on to a wall as I am. The lower the lamp goes, the more its back sticks out, just like any anglepoise lamp. I've
