BE IN CONTROL - Our electric towel rails use dry electric heating technology to provide the most cost effective way to dry your towels, so saving you money and being kind to the environment. To make the rail even more controllable, unlike a lot of other electric rails, it has a built in on / off + 2 or 4 hour timer switch, which means you can have total control of when the rail is switched on.

Excellent. Low cost to run also.
I fitted one in my bathroom, had to install it upside down because of wiring locations but it works very well. It's running cost is approx 4p to 6p an hour and as my bathroom is small it heats the room up nicely too. I like the 2hr and 4hr options as I don't need to worry about switching it off. Very easy to wire in too.
Bad design
Very nice but it only switches on when you push the buttons. It would be helpful if you could put it on a timer so that it switches on in the wee small hours. Sadly you can't do that.

Could be better
Although the product is good value and works as stated, it would be far better, if the on/off controls were at the top of the rail rather than the bottom, so you don't need to bend down to switch on off. This is easily possible, so not sure why the designers think the low level is acceptable.
