Great Shower

My MIra Event XS eventually failed after 12 years roughly. Although it worked fine over those years the noise from the motor was huge. A H&S audit would definitely recommend wearing hearing protection while showering it was that bad. I decided to stick with the same brand mainly because of their quality (noisy motor aside), appearance, and same location of water and electrical connections. The new unit was fitted in about 20 minutes. The difference in motor noise is night and day. Yes you can still hear it obviously but it is very subdued. A much simpler operation on the new one also. Very good value for money

Its important to know that when fitting this to the wall it comes with wall plugs that are RUBBER. this I assume is to reduce noise transmission through the wall. However when fitting these if you "over tighten" them ( whatever that means as there is no spec) they will be practically impossible to remove as I found out when I had a small leak and spent 2 hrs cutting the heads off the screws to get the unit off the wall. The rubber strips in the hole and the screw and its retainer all rotate together and you are goosed !

Come as it should, fitted well , and working perfectly, very well pleased.

Fabulous budget shower

Absolutely loving this shower. My plumber recommended the Mira Event but it was a bit pricey so I chose the Vigour and couldn't be happier. The flow is easy to control - I only use it on half power and it's great. The heat is easy to control. I would definitely recommend.
