Great for kitchen herbs
I use these for herbs in the kitchen. I simply put supermarket herbs in the watering pots but leave the plants in the pot they came in and water above the bottom of the pot as needed. This is not the intended use, but it works very well for me - I've not killed a basil in weeks!
