Very pleased with this lovely microwave
After much searching, I decided on this Russell Hobbs one as it is a leading brand and its very attractive and modern looking with a large interior and is a high power 800w so it heats up food quickly. It just had two knobs - one for the temperature and one for an the time ...I use the defrost setting and full power most of the time and simply turn the bottom knob for the amount of time needed.
Looks great - works great - is great!
It does everything you need from a microwave. We don't cook ready meals, but being able to defrost things quickly can be useful. It's good for heating up left-overs. It's good for heating up a wheat-bag too!
Love at first sight
The dials remind me of German overengineering, and the “time’s up” buzzer is just an actual bell — ting! It’s 1985, and I’ve bought something I expect to last a thousand years. And when it finally gives up, I can just buy another one exactly the same, because there is no upgrade to this beautiful kitchen appliance.
