I don't usually leave reviews at all, but with this vacuum, I had to come and leave one. Although when I first received the device, i went through some teething problems with setting it up, mainly that the mapping wasn't great. It was cleaning the same room/parts of the room continuously without moving on. I figured this came down to me putting a dock by the side of my couch between it and wall. Once i moved it to my hallway, where it has plenty of space, i found it has worked amazingly. The app i find to be easy to use and intuitive enough. A very clever machine - once you get it working !

But I wasn't out of the woods .... yet. Much of my house is carpeted and I had edited the map to reflect that. But on asking the robot to sweep my carpeted living room, it came out of the base station, said 'job completed' and went straight back in. It cleaned the hardboard rooms, actually pretty well, but wouldn't touch the carpeted ones. Even after changing the settings in the app to tell it to sweep the carpet it still didn't budge. This time the call centre people didn't know what was wrong.

The suction power is impressive, and the cleaning is very thorough, even along edges. Charging is a little slow, and while the battery is more than enough for my home, larger homes may need to split cleaning into two schedules to allow it to recharge. Even so, my full-home clean goes over every room twice, uses Turbo mode on the carpeted bedroom and Standard mode everywhere else, and it still usually finishes with over 30% battery remaining.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent robot vacuum that takes the effort out of daily cleaning

The suction power is impressive, especially on hard floors and around skirting boards where dust tends to collect. It picks up pet hair, crumbs, and everyday dirt far better than I expected from a robot vacuum. The mopping function is also useful for maintaining clean floors between deeper cleans.

Great Cleaning, fantastic price. Easy to use.

I have found this thing to be absolutely fantastic. I have the RV30 Max Plus. I just use it on our lower floor which is a Kitchen, Front/Living Room and a Pantry. The hoover easily slips under the entryway to the pantry so cleans in there without having to leave the door open for it. YMMV with that of course, it works for us as our pantry is disguised as Kitchen cupboards and there is no kickboard but there is about 4-5 inches of clearance.

Fantastic (if not totally necessary) purchase

Still working well but have read other reviews regarding the mopping function, despite what Tapo say, I use a cleaning solution in the tank as well as water (yeah I’m probably voiding the warranty but who cares), so to get better mopping function, I always use the hoover to do one pass, then I make sure that the dust, pet hair etc is emptied from the hoover into the bag, then attach the mop and fill the tank with water and cleaning solution and do another pass, I find that it works better this way, failing to do it this way (in my opinion) has a negative effect on the hoover, it clogs quite ea

Very happy with this vacuum.

The first time I ran a cleaning I watched it and I was impressed by the way it maneuvered its way around. It got into places that I wasn't expecting it to be able to reach. It also had no problem with the different surfaces (mats, rugs, tile, hardwood) and crossing over the boundaries between the rooms. I had gone around previously and made sure that no cables were trailing anywhere so that wasn't an issue. The cleaning performance was excellent on all surfaces. Overall, I’m very impressed with this robot vacuum. It tells you everything either in voice notes and/or through the app. Great general cleaning and helps reduce time on my weekly deep clean! I love that you can name it too (it’s the little things that amuse me). Highly recommend
