My Experience: The quality of this reel is excellent. Self winding hose

I like the self rewinding mechanism as it does not snatch the hose back in when it is rewinding. The is no lock lever to stop the hose rewinding but it works by if you pull the hose out and slowly let it start to wind back in it locks. There is a slight issue in this in that if you pull the hose slightly when in use it can start to rewind when you don't want it to.

Sturdy and heavy hose

It comes with a small instruction booklet and a template for drilling positions of the wall bracket. You will need a decent drill and pozi screwdriver to assemble this on a fairly solid wall due to the overall weight and the reels actual use. For most users I would guess that you do not need the template for the holes to drill as the lightweight wall bracket comes separately and can easily be held against the wall for marking through the holes with a pencil. Excellent value for Money.

It was fairly easy to install, the adapter fit my 1/2" tap perfectly and although you do need a solid fixing point, such as a brick wall, as the bracket requires four 10mm holes to be drilled for mounting, its pretty easy to do. The hose is of a good length my product was 30m and I have not needed to get all of the Hoze out when watering my car garden or washing the car, so 30 meters is plenty for most domestic applications.
