Mould needs to be watertight and a large project can be expensive

Used a 3 batches of this product to cover an oak ring table top with epoxy resin and Micah powder. The project was outside so I didn’t notice a smell. It was easy to use but I’d advise careful and thorough mixing on a large plastic sheet as the stuff drips while being moved about; also I lost a bit due to the mould leaking so your mould needs to be watertight. I worked only when the temperature was over 20 degrees centigrade and the finish set perfectly clear without any bubbles

Easy to use, doesn’t stink

I’ve never done anything with epoxy resin before but was keen to try, and after researching how expensive resin workshops are I’ve decided to watch a few videos and try it myself, see how it goes. It was actually much easier than I thought! I’ve made 2 tables preserving objects from travelling. One is made from Estonian and Rhodes pebbles, the other one (curing right now) is from Santorini sand. I’ve become so keen that I want to make more stuff now! This resin doesn’t stink and is not messy. The only thing I would recommend is to get a silicone measuring cup and silicone mixing stick because

Good amount to try it out on anything

You do need a bit of patience to let it dry fully before touching it. It becomes hard and flexible before becoming fully solid so you can make some alterations to your work as it is dryer toward the end.
