To avoid disappointment, please note that these rugs are lovely and as soft as sheep but not as soft as sheepskin rugs which are treated with strong chemicals to soften the wool. Due to the long fibres on this product, not recommended for babies. Please note that as these items are authentic handicrafts, some shedding of wool is inevitable and can be minimised by regular vacuuming using your machine's nozzle attachment. Be aware before purchase.
Fantastic rug at a great price
Had been searching for a new rug. This rug ticked all the boxes even though it was a “let’s get it and see”. Settled really well, not “ratty” as I have seen with a number of flokati’s. Thick and warm. Hasn’t shed. The dog loves it!

I think that these flokati rugs are one of those things that should be used for aesthetic purposes only! The look and feel great but I think that they aren’t really practical for walking on!
Excellent quality
I am extremely happy with this mat. It is very clean and even though it is natural wool, it is soft. I gave it a quick shake and its good to go. I have known the 2000g to be a bit matted but not this one. It is beautiful. I'm so pleased. The best thing is that these mats are washable. I have had flokati rugs around my house for years. Some are 20 years old..... they go in and out of the washing machine, good to use a conditioner. Coffee has been spilt on them, and the creamy white comes back. And perhaps we can be happy that they are natural.... totally..... many thanks.
