I love them but plug to first bulb is very short.
I would say that the LED lights, whilst energy saving, cool to the touch and effective, I do not think the bulbs are as 'warm' in colour as I might have liked. The effect is still very good and the garden looks lovely, but the bulbs do not give off that romantic warm glow that you may hanker after. I have now ordered some vintage retro 'lettuce' bulbs to see if I prefer the light from them.

These are great, have a nice look and I like the fact they have a moulded loop/hole on each lamp so I could just screw in B&Q hooks and get the cable nice ant taut and tidy. We have a small but long victorian terrace garden so the option of joining more than one set together was an appeal, but we didn't bother as the one set down one side of the garden gives a nice amount of light.
Works perfectly - very bright
I wanted a 50ft length to go round a pergola but then the choice is how many bulbs you want, e.g 25, 50 other. I went for 50 in the end so a buld every 6 inches, however this is very bright - too bright really - and I have ended up slightly unscrewing some if th ebulbs to turn them off and reduce the light level.
A good buy
They provide depth and safety to the garden on the dark night and at 2W per bulb (total 60W) I don’t feel too guilty by running them a couple of hours a night during winter.
