Know what you are buying and you’ll be happy.
The bulbs are plastics on the outside and should keep all but heavy rain out. They are not, however, going to keep condensation out indefinitely and if they are left wet without the plastic outer being screwed in tight and positioned downwards then water ingress will happen. Tighten the bulbs when you install, install them hanging down and check occasionally and you will be fine.
These are GREAT outdoor lights 💡
These are excellent lights. Have had one set up for a year and through torrential rain and a whole winter not even one bulb has gone. No water inside any of the bulbs. Have bought a second set which was so easy to link up to the first set so now the whole garden has light. Highly recommended and a good price.
