In terms of functionality, it has defrost settings and you can set a limited programme. I don't know why it doesn't have more memory for more steps in the programme. The auto cook functions aren't very helpful in my opinion - for example the success of the defrost will vary wildly depending on what you are defrosting. Soup? Yes. Lasagne? Hahaha absolutely not. Another negative is that the manual suggests you can programme a delayed start (e.g. because you want some rice to be cooked and ready for when you're due home). You can't actually do this, the manual is wrong. Following the instructions
