Product details
Mishran Rug Range - is named after its meaning in Hindi. "Mixture" or "Blend" is the perfect description of these beautiful rugs. Hand loomed in India, the Mishran rug will bring you a mix of natural sustainable jute interwoven with brightly coloured recycled fabrics. The style of weave is an attractive braided design. Please note that since every rug is hand woven with a mix of natural and random materials, they may vary from the photographs shown.
Choose from Three Sizes - If you are looking to mix and match a little then you will find three sizes to choose from. A medium 120 cm; a large 150 cm and an extra large 180cm. See our other listings for round, oval and rectangle versions of the Mishran.
Ethically Sourced - Produced by one of our favourite GoodWeave suppliers and part of a closed network of certified producers. Each rug is individually numbered so that you can be sure of its unique handling and its ethical source. Our certification fees help to fund premises inspection and education centres for children and young people.
ECO-Friendly - Made with two eco-friendly materials; sustainable jute and recycled fabric offcuts. Jute comes from one of the fastest growing plant types and its long, strong fibres make it ideal for weaving. Recycled fabrics are offcuts from the garment industry which would otherwise have gone to waste. Energy efficient too - the flat weave style is hand woven on a traditional loom and no machinery is involved.
Care of Your Rug - The finished piece is reversible meaning that it can be rolled up when not in use. It can be shaken or spot cleaned if necessary. If placing on a hard floor with heavy footfall then you may wish to use rug mesh or similar to hold the rug in place. Take care to avoid colour transfer if the rug becomes damp or in contact with sensitive surfaces.

Great quality, quite hefty. Lovely colours. Exactly what I'd hoped for.
I wasn’t expecting it to be this nice!
Very nice rug, I got it for my conservatory. Looks really lovely with indoor plants and wicker furniture. I was expecting it to come rolled up but it comes folded in a plastic bag. Obvious when you think about it because it’s made of woven fabric. It’s not particularly heavy probably because it’s made of woven fabric. It’s just as colourful and attractive as in the pictures. It would work very well in a child’s room because it’s so soft and colourful. My dog loves it.
