Mattress 12 Inch Hybrid Pocket Sprung 9-Zone Support

I make it 10.5' NOT 12'. Tut-tut.

I was fortunate to be given the chance to test & review one of these "Resspry Double Mattress, 12 Inch Hybrid Pocket Sprung, 9-Zone Memory Foam". I know you don't care about such details Dear Reader, but it arrived here 4 days ago. I'm leaving my review until now because after unpacking from the box & plastic and the mattress springs into life, you are supposed to leave it 72 hours to fully take it's shape. I checked after 48 hours and came armed with my tape measure! After 48 hours the mattress was 10.5 inches deep. I then left it another full 24 hours, because it is said to be 12 inches deep

Cool and firm support

The hybrid construction is equally impressive: individually pocketed springs cut motion transfer by 45%, boost hip and waist support by 50%, and reduce edge sagging by 30%, so my partner's tossing no longer disturbs me and the reinforced edges keep me stable right to the side of the bed. As someone with back pain, the adaptive memory foam with zoned ergonomic support has been a revelation — it keeps my spine in its natural curve while contouring to my shoulders and hips, relieving pressure points and preventing that sinking feeling for balanced support that genuinely reduces strain.

The comfiest mattress

It is quite high, but personally, I don’t find that an issue at all. If anything, I actually like the extra height as it gives the bed a more luxurious feel. Just be aware that it is VERY heavy! You’ll definitely need two people to lift it and get it onto the bed base, as it’s not something you can easily manage on your own.

A Genuinely Impressive Hybrid Mattress That Delivers Real Comfort

The roll-out and expansion process was straightforward. Although the instructions recommend leaving it longer, it was ready to sleep on within around four hours — a practical win for anyone eager to get it set up quickly. The 9-zone pocket spring system does a commendable job of preventing that dreaded "rolling together" effect, making it well-suited for shared sleeping. The memory foam top layer contours naturally to the body without feeling restrictive or overly soft — it strikes a genuinely balanced middle ground between cushioning and support.

Luxurious and thick, I slept so well

I really like the Resspry brand for their matresses. This is the second one we've had from them, and it's just as good in the single size as the double was. The memory foam on top of the springs really adds that depth of luxury, and it keeps me the right temperature and posture as I sleep. I've had a really good sleep the nights that I've had this mattress. It comes vac packed in. an easy to transport box, and instructions are included how to safely de-inflate the mattress once in position. I left it a day or two to plump out once unpacked before using it. I's a really deep mattress at 12 inch

Very comfortable

But after opening you just leave it for a couple days to settle. That's a bit of a flaw unless it's being used in a spare room because who, in their right mind is sleeping on a sofa whilst their new mattress settles? But I'll forgive that because we were asleep in this within 12 hours of installation and the comfort levels were still epic. It's quite a firm mattress but I like this. Supportive in the right places but still soft and luxury in feel. I think the price is great. I don't see much difference between this and our old EMMA mattress which was 3 times the price.

The quality the mattress

The double mattress is excellent, l love it and recommend.
