The saddle is very well padded and is big and sturdy enough for my large frame. I'm 5'10" and it's perfect for me. It might be too big for smaller people.

i was skeptical. however. i tried this out and it is so comfortable. yes the saddle is wide but it really is comfy and stops the pressure on the lower back and enables better posture. the quality of the seat overall is great however underneath looks a bit sketchy.

Great saddle chair with thick padding

The chair was extremely easy to assemble, took a minute or two. It has a very great height adjustability, and also has silicone rimmed wheels to protect flooring. The seat itself is very comfortable and has a lot of padding. The only issue is that the front end is rather wide, but you get used to that with time. Haven’t had any issues sitting on it for hours at a time, and I do feel reduced back strain (but that’s after the initial period of a few weeks where your back gets used to being in that position).

Really comfortable. Quite a wide straddle. Wider than I expected. Moves well on cushion floor. Brilliantly on wooden floor. Not good on carpet. Well made and great value for the price. I am an above knee amputee, five feet 4 inches, generally strong and fit. I can cook a meal on this without wearing my prosthetic limb on cushion floor. I have standard height worktops and appliances. I find it most comfortable if my foot is flat on floor but can't quite manage chopping etc. So I raise height of stool, which can be done whilst sitting on it, so I am on tip toe and height for worktops is perfect

Weirdly comfortable and helpful for bad backs

I ordered this for my husband who has chronic back problems. I’d actually seen a saddle stool ( and sat on it) at my dentists as she uses one due to her back problems. I thought this one would fit the bill and I’m exceptionally pleased I ordered it. When you sit on it it definitely changes your posture. It is like sitting on a horse. For some reason that I can’t explain you certainly don’t miss the back rest that you get on a normal swivel chair. Addendum: I have been using this chair for a few months now and still love it but I do have one problem with it that I thought I would mention in case it helps someone else. If you are constantly standing and sitting, standing and sitting, you may find this stool drives you crazy. If you get up and go to sit down, you have to be very careful that it is lined up properly. Many times I have gone to sit (unconsciously) and found myself falling because I missed the saddle. Beyond expectations! Makes life easier!!!

I've had it for a few months now and I have to say it has far exceeded my expectations. The size of the seat is just perfect, padding is so comfy and I've been sitting on it literally hundreds of hours working since purchase and no sign of wear and tear yet.
