The remote doesn't come with batteries which for the price is a bit stingy in my opinion. The remote takes 2 x AAA's.

Combined Ceiling Fan & Light Unit – Quiet, Bright, and Space-Age Stylish
I haven’t really bothered much with the app since the remote works perfectly well, so no complaints there. The unit does have a bit of a spaceship vibe going on, which had me wondering if I accidentally installed something from the Starship Enterprise. But honestly, I really appreciate the clean, modern style — it suits the room nicely without being over the top.
Great design, great product.
Excellent. Effective bracket fitment means the light is sturdy and doesn't 'rock' when the fan is on. The versatility of the light (cold LED, warm LED, dimmable, night light mode, etc.) Is great, and the fan is a lifesaver. 6 speed, effective air movement, and quiet enough to be left on all night on the lowest setting, without disturbing sleep.

Easy to put up and look great. They really move a lot of air about and are very quiet. Ended up buying two.

Light quality is great can literally change lighting setting to suit your want. Size is small and installation is quick and easy. Remote is easy to use. Great durability and good value for money.
