Good value and I'm impressed
I really like this tap. It's well made, good quality and certainly easier to fit than any other kitchen tap I've fitted (no spanners in right places needed to mount it). It has decent flow rates, looks smart, the neck turns smoothly, and temperature adjustment is good. I'd recommend this tap.
Great company
The product seems good, but I haven't installed it yet. I'll update after I have used it. We had some issues and the company was fantastic to deal with.
Not ‘Easy fit’
The tap is not ‘easy fit’ as described by the manufacturer. Our plumber said they are very difficult to fit and would not recommend them. However, so far the tap looks good and works well.
Worthy Purchase
The chrome one is at the best price in the market, but I thought it might be worth to go for the brushed nickle finish, though it much more expensive. After we got the product, it proves that it worth the extra money, as it looks more sophisticated, it does not show water marks as easy as the polish chrome finish. Installation is straight forward, and easy job for my husband. In all, a very good buy.
Sturdy and great for a gravity-fed system
Bought to replace a continental-type tap which, despite being described as suitable for a low pressure system, omitted to add that flow would be very weak. This Bristan tap has hoses with a far bigger bore and the flow is excellent from a loft-tank fed system. It was easy to fit too.
