Incredibly comfortable office chair, and best of all: NO WHEELS!
I bought this chair 3 1/2 years ago because I was desperate for a desk chair without wheels. I *hate* desk chairs with wheels. (Why do the majority of desk chairs have wheels? The percentage of people who need to roll around their office on a chair all day long has to be incredibly low, right?) The "spokes" of wheeled office chairs always seem to be in the way of your feet when you sit down, so then you have to do that thing where you half stand on one foot and shove the offending spoke with your other foot in order to rotate it out of the way. Wonderful, sturdy chair! Assembly not bad at all.
I found the assembly to be fairly straightforward, and I did it by myself. (I am, for reference, a middle-aged woman whose previous DIY experience topped out at pre-fab bookcases.) The instructions are light on words and heavy on exploded diagrams, but they're perfectly clear. The only dodgy bit was getting the seat attached to the base at the end because I needed five hands. Try flipping the top of the chair upside-down on your sofa and putting the base on top of it--worked for me. Oh, and don't take all the hardware off the card at once. Just open each little section as you need those bolts.
Great support
