This is our second tatami mat purchase from this company and we are more than happy with the mats. They are beautiful and very comfortable to lay and sit on. A good sturdy thickness and well designed. Our cats even love to lay on them.
Amazing Japanese craftsmanship
An amazing product. I bought this as I needed a bed in a hurry . Due to the social distancing, currently large items are not being delivered. Bought this to tide me over till shops open. Now I think I can live without a traditional bed and mattress. I bought the futon along with this as well. It’s a comfortable double. It smells natural and the colour a pale green.
Value for money.
The craftsmanship is simply beautiful. The weaving is tight and even, and the texture is firm but surprisingly comfortable underfoot and for sitting. I've been using it as a base for my Japanese futon mattress, and the combination is a dream. The mat provides the perfect amount of firm support, and I've found my sleep has been more restful and my back feels better in the mornings. It's a world away from a standard mattress, and I'm a total convert.
