After one use only. It’s very quiet and good at shredding compost material (UK definition).
I would not want to tip the shreddings straight from the bin into a plastic bin bag as the plastic felt quite fragile and the rectangular shape would not fit easily into the bag for a second fill and protruding plastic lugs would tear the bag. But transferring shreddings form the transparent bag to another bag was pure dead simple.

Fantastic bit of kit. Really pleased with this heavy duty 18 page 60 minute cross shedder. Used for two days almost consistently when I got it , for a large amount of confidential paperwork without a problem. Highly recommend.
Eats cardboard for breakfast
Chops paper and cardboard into little pieces and very rarely jams. It has a good sized bin and the wheels let me store it and pull it out when needed. I use it for composting and wormery material. Perfect, safe and good value.
A sturdy well manufactured build
The Bonsaii C149-C Shredder is a high quality and library quiet multi-purpose 18-sheet Cross-cut shredder. It accepts paper, CD/DVDs, credit cards and staples. Medium duty motor can shred 1.6 m per minute. 8.7" paper entry can accept letter and legal-size documents. Quiet motor dampens grinding and shredding noise.
Bonsaii! Handles most shredding tasks with ease.
It handles just about anything I could 'throw' at it: thick envelopes, credit cards, cardboard, TYVEK packaging, small bubble wrap... It does it relatively quietly and pretty neatly, too. Should something get stuck - a rare occasion, the simple reverse control gets it dislodged efficiently. It is quite mobile on the casters as well. The shred is a fine one so all safety concerns about the content are allayed.
