The Garden Mesh Netting measures 2.5 x 10m, It is lightweight, and ultra-fine mesh, and the thread spacing is perfectly uniform, this fine mesh netting made of Nanometer PPT materials(More durable and more tear-resistant than PE material), a novel nanocomposite material, this material is very strong and can protect against large hail.
In the heat of the summer, This super fine black mesh netting provide 30% shade Sunblock which helps keep them cooler, preventing bolting and drying, and UV-resistant, and giving the extra advantage of helping to reduce heat on strong sun, hot days, to reduce watering frequency.
The fibers of this mesh do not move around(Each wire is fixed), It will not get holes if you pull or poke it, The cross threads are attached so if it is cut to another size, the cut is clean and it is regular and not frayed, the edges will not unravel, You can cut it freely into the size and shape you want.
You can water the plants without having to remove the netting, which is also convenient. I would recommend using some sort of support system for the netting (like a trestle or support stakes, etc.), that way the netting is not laying directly on the plants(the netting is super lightweight - 45g/m², but still could cause plants to bend and break their stems).
This is very durable garden barrier netting. It will help keeps small insects out(such as Japanese beetles/caterpillars/worms/tiniest bugs), it's totally a natural barrier screen netting. It can also be used as grass seed netting, fruit netting fine mesh bird friendly, strawberry protection.
Durable materials
Excellent product for a patio project, for mosquitoes doesn’t goes thru inside, for a green house so that our plants won’t get bugs. I really like it. Very good and durable materials. I might purchased 2 more just to get extra if we need in the future. Exact size that we need, we measure our patio, then, order the right size, not exactly size but you can cut off excess.
Very good for vegetable cages
Stops most pests (we had a large issue with cabbage white butterflies). However, still does not prevent cabbage white fly and flea beetles
Hard wearing net
Quite a stiff net so a little more difficult to fit neatly over supports but doesn't flap about. Kept out all cabbage white butterflies but little black thrips got in, may find itself over crops like lettuce next year rather than brassica. I was impressed enough to reordered for covering salad crops in raised beds.
DOESN'T DRAPE WELL
Unfortunately, I bought it to drape over large round tubs of young vegetables because every critter in the universe seems to attack things I grow and want to eat, the vine weevil being the worst of all. I hate those grubs with a passion and, yes, I do bombard them with nematodes but even so, I get losses. This mesh does not drape well, it has a mind of it's own, and you should have seen me trying to tie twine around the pot to secure it and the mesh springing out all over the place. I gave up in the end. sigh :D
Excellent dimensionally stable netting.
Excellent dimensionally stable netting. I used this to manufacture simple tent cloches to protect seedlings and mature vegitable plants from birds, vermin and insects. It is extremely easy to use because of its stable dimensions so cutting repeatable patterns is possible thus reducing wasetage. I have had the cloches in the garden throughout the growing season for three years now and have seen no deterioration due to UV. Highly recommended.
