As Good As Most Gym Bikes

The price has gone up quite a bit since I bought mine six months ago, but with excellent build quality, ease of assembly and the ride experience it's still good value for money. I searched for a while till I found this - the 110kg load was a factor for me - and it is just as good as claimed in the description. Solid bike, does the trick if you are not an athlete.

When I started using this bike I was surprised that I had to put the resistance setting on max to feel any benefit- I thought that was something I would have to work up to. I'm 50 and I've not actually ridden on a bike for the last 30 years so I expected dead legs that wouldn't carry me up stairs after the first few uses. Instead I had a "good" ache in the muscles but nothing dramatic. If you are a cyclist already you might well want to look for something that offers a higher resistance challenge.

Solid, basic bike well worth its money -

I'm 5'10" with an inside leg of about 33", and I find the saddle a little bit low, also the design of the thing means you sit a bit back from the pedals, so you can't get an efficient push from the hip, and finally, I've been running it on maximum resistance from the off, and would ideally like a bit more oomph. HOWEVER - this is a solid, good bike that gives me a good half hour work out, gets my heart rate up and gives me some exercise when I wouldn't otherwise do anything in the day, so as a starter, a tester to see if I would really use a bike regularly, it more than ticks the boxes. As a pensioner, I needed to do more exercise. This bike has served that purpose. Solidly made, easy to set up and good value. It’s not the exercise bike for you if you want a hard workout. I have it set on max resistance and that is just about right for me. Others will likely find that too easy and want more resistance. The lowest resistance feels almost like you’re riding an electric bike! All in all, a great choice for those who wish to keep their bodies from seizing up altogether. FYI I’m 6ft tall and the bike is ok for size. Taller than that, you may find yourself a bit cramped.
