Perfect futon. Highly recommend

This is amazing. I have been sleeping on a rolled duvet for 2 years or more to help my back but this, this, THIS... is a game changer for me. It is deep enough to stop joints from compressing on yje hard floor but not soft enough to cause me back issues.

Simple, Quiet Comfort — A Joy to Sleep On

This futon has that gentle, understated comfort I associate with good Japanese bedding. Firm enough to support the back, soft enough to relax into, and beautifully made. It folds and stores with no fuss, and the room feels lighter for it. A small everyday pleasure, and absolutely deserving of five stars.

Good Shikibuton

Comfy Shikibuton. 2.5 inches thick. It took my wife and I about 3 days for our bodies to adjust. But we wake up refreshed and we both have experienced a lot better sleep. Try a firmer pillow for stomach sleepers. The a tatami mat is comes with is great.

Better than any mattress

On the first day I got this, I was able to sleep like a baby and woke up very energized, no adjustment needed. On my old mattresses I always woke up feeling like someone had beat me up while I was sleeping, but with this, I felt like my muscles can relax totally. I am a stomach sleeper and occasionally sleep on my side or back and don't have any discomfort. My girlfriend who sleeps over quite a bit is a side sleeper and reported a bit of discomfort since she is a side sleeper, but now she places a blanket under her side and says the same thing about sleeping uninterrupted and waking up energiz

Good quality futon set

Comfortable, firm futon. The tatami is easily stored. It does retain the grass smell, however.

The size of the futon fits my room. Durability, Thickness, and firmness makes it very comfortable when laying down or sleeping. Good value for my money.

Very comfortable futon and good quality too. Easy to fold away and nice to sleep on. If laying on a hard floor may not be thick enough for some people so its a matter of personal preference if using directly on a hard surface. Otherwise can also be used as a mattress topper.
