This is amazing. I have been sleeping on a rolled duvet for 2 years or more to help my back but this, this, THIS... is a game changer for me. It is deep enough to stop joints from compressing on yje hard floor but not soft enough to cause me back issues.

Have been sleeping on this for few nights and it’s been amazing so far. I had back soreness from sleeping on bed mattress but the shikibuton fixed any soreness.

This futon has that gentle, understated comfort I associate with good Japanese bedding. Firm enough to support the back, soft enough to relax into, and beautifully made. It folds and stores with no fuss, and the room feels lighter for it. A small everyday pleasure, and absolutely deserving of five stars.
Very comfortable and good quality
Very comfortable futon and good quality too. Easy to fold away and nice to sleep on. If laying on a hard floor may not be thick enough for some people so its a matter of personal preference if using directly on a hard surface. Otherwise can also be used as a mattress topper.

I use the double folded in 2, it's tin but it is good quality for a fair price.
