Great bike, difficult to assemble
1) There's a hook inside the front post which has to be connected to the tension knob. The hook is connected to a wire that runs down the inside of the post. You have to put your finger inside the hole in the post to pull the hook and you have to pull on it. Then you have to connect the tension rod around the loop on the hook - you need three hands for this and a lot of patience. You might want to have someone help with this part
Solid, reliable equipment
The bike has a good range of adjustments to get a comfortable riding position. Myself (5’6”) and my husband (6’) can both use it comfortably. The tension is easy to adjust, although I find it very hard work if set on more than the minimum! The tension comes from a magnetic flywheel which provides reliable and quiet operation.
Gym bike for home use
Fairly easy to assemble and once assembled appears to be a robust machine. A the moment happy with the item and good value for money. Waiting to see how it holds up in the long term

Assembly took around an hour with a few fiddly bits with internal wiring and I recommend to do it in the room you're locating it as it's not the easiest to move around afterwards, particularly up and down stairs as it's quite heavy (the box as delivered is large and heavy too (as you'd expect)). There are 'wheels' on the front to steer it around but they are not brilliant and could potentially mark floors too.
A very strong built item
Putting the bike together was very simple with clear instructions and a little common sense it was up in no time and my wife tried it straight away to test it out for me to review. The bike is centred well and is very sturdy on its tubular steel alloy feet that are around 60 cm wide to give it a good stance, you can also lift it from the back feet and it will roll on the front feet wheels to move it around easily, the seat and seat stem are adjustable with the pedals having foot holders to help keep your footing while in operation,as mentioned bike uses an internal magnetically controlled flyw
