Chrome Bath Shower Mixer Taps Attachment Solid Brass

EXCELLENT TAP, ESPECIALLY FOR LOW PRESSURE OF 0.1 BAR

I was a bit dubious about buying this tap as we have 0.1 bar pressure and this tap says it works from 0.2 bar but is best at 0.5 bar. Our last tap said that and for over a year we have suffered with a poor flow of about 4l a minute. On this tap I contacted the seller who stated at 0.1 bar this tap has a flow of 14.5l min. That seemed, for us, too good to be true and so I questioned it with them and they confirmed these are the manufacturers specs. So I bought the tap and fixed it to the existing stands, it was really easy to fit within a few minutes. Then when trying the tap I could not believ

Great performance taps

We have learnt to heed disclised flow rates on taps for the future. Fitting and assembly of the mixer tap is straight forward for me being a non plumber. Only gripe is bath top washer/seal is a little small as our bath has bigger holes (or it may be std). Over came this using our older seals that were still in good order. The instructions provided generalised across manufacturer range so no assembly diagram to follow but obvious for me with no experience.

Excellent quality mixer unit

Simple to fit, all washers and backnuts are included. Hot and cold taps use standard compression type valves rather than the 1/4 turn ceramic cartridge types which I find annoying. All in all a great value for money item which I can recommend without hesitation.
