First photo: I have a busy desktop, with a number of screens, "visiting" peripherals like a midi keyboard and the space mouse, depending on what I'm doing. There are lots of cables and some of them have to move.
A great value standing desk
I was considering the £500 IKEA Uppspel gaming desk, but decided to give this one a go as it was less than half the price. Putting together the heavy desk can be done by one person, but beware the legs are very heavy and you don't want them toppling over on your foot! In all it took about 30 minutes to put together and apart from some minor niggles, I'm very happy with the desk.
Good for the Price.
It is a split top desk (2 x 35cm wide top pieces 18mm thick) which are joined together with wooden dowels and brace plates. This is the only part of the desk that I thought could be better. I was expecting a single piece top (That would double the wide of the box and probably double their shipping cost, which to me was part of the buying price) I do think they need to address the joining for true alignment like you would get with, for example, an flat pack cupboard.
