Excellent heater but the supplied cable is too short
My main criticism is the length of the power cable supplied with the unit. At only around 1.6 metres, it wasn't long enough for my installation, and I ended up having to purchase a separate cable in order to position the heater where I needed it. For a wall-mounted outdoor heater, I think a longer cable should be included as standard, as many users are unlikely to have a power outlet conveniently located nearby.
Inexpensive patio heater with some design isssues
The heater appears to be well constructed, with a metal construction. However, the metal is a little thin. I imagine more expensive heaters have a more robust build. The heater does look smart though. A mounting kit is provided and it’s easy to hang the heater on a suitable wall. The unit has IP65 water protection so can be used outside, although I would place it in a sheltered position, not a north-facing wall with no rain protection. A problem, though, is that the fixed power cable, with a UK plug attached, is only around a metre long. I’ve had to cut the plug off and join the existing cable
Quick to heat, slightly short cable
It comes fitted with a standard three-pin UK plug, but the power cable is not particularly long. This could be inconvenient depending on how far it needs to run to reach a socket. I do not currently have outdoor power, so I have had to connect it to an indoor socket using an extension lead.
High-Power Wall-Mounted Infrared Outdoor Patio Heater
Featuring advanced Carbon Fiber Heating, this Wall-Mounted Electric Patio Heater 2000W unit warms people and surfaces directly rather than trying to heat the open air. This means the heat stays focused and effective even if there is a gentle breeze blowing through your gazebo or pergola.
Perfect for warmth, at my outside space.
The only downside is that, like most wall-mounted heaters, it warms a specific area rather than a whole garden, so where you place it matters. Also, it needs an outdoor power source, which might require some setup. I had an outside socket to place it into, but others may need to get one fitted. I found it heated the outside seating area, which Is a small space for me, pretty well and kept me toasty when it was getting colder at the evening.
It generates a good amount of heat and you can feel the warmth fairly quickly once it is switched on. It is useful for taking the chill off when sitting outside when the sun goes in to keep the party going.
Easy to install and does it’s job.
