Duronic HV220 Slimline Black Mica Panel 2.0KW...A veryvery good heater.*****

When new they both smelt slighty of burning plastic after being switched on. This is covered in the instructions. The smell soon goes and I was left with a very good fire indeed. The amount of heat it generates is amazing. The type of heat they both generate is unusual too. I've had a string of different wood burning stoves in the past and the heat these electric fires generate is most like those wood burners. A very dry-warm sort of heat and nothing like conventional fan, convection, ceramic, carbon, halogen and even more esoteric fires about today. Back to the amazing heat. It is winter Marc

Fast warm up and cool down. Very useful.

I've fitted dozens of extensions to power leads to extend them. When the cables are extended - not bunched up - they have have never even become warm - never mind catch fire. Even if the max output is used, fitting a 13amp cable with ensure enough cooling to prevent it getting hot.

Powerful little heater

This is based off only a day or so of having and using this heater, but I really didn’t expect it to be so good! It was intended for the living room while we await a new boiler to get central heating back on, and it’s a fairly big room with a high ceiling. It took probably half an hour for the room to be noticeably warmer all over, and after an hour it was pretty toasty. The heater is super light, pretty silent while running and the controls are easy to use - no digital display/app to go haywire. Considering getting another for a different room.

Brilliant heater ..,

Brilliant almost instant heat even on the lower setting . It’s light weight and easy to lift or move around on its roller castors .

First impressions

This was the first Duronic Electric Heater I have used. I have found it easy to use and the heat it emits is good. However I could not set it to an exact temperature because the temperature dial does not indicate any degrees. I must learn where to set it by trial and error. I use it as I used to use an oil filled radiator and keep it running at the 1000W until my room gets warm.It is much better than my old oil filled radiator. I have not yet tried it at the 2000W until I have an idea of how much it costs to run. The lenth of the cable is a nuisance but adequate
