More costly than others but well worth it....
Genuinely get's hot compared to most others in both zones (feet and body) at it's highest setting of 9 then it honestly even for me is too hot to have at that setting and I'm one who always complains about feeling cold. In fact 3 to 4 on the body zone is more than enough and 5 to 6 on the foot zone is perfect even on the coldest of nights...
Keeps us warm at night
Negatives: It does require two plug sockets, one for each side, which could be an issue for some setups. After the timer switches it off, the controls lock, so you have to turn it off at the main switch, wait a couple of seconds, and turn it back on. Also, each time it resets to the max temperature (9) rather than remembering our usual settings. Setting my preferred temperature and timer each night involves pressing the buttons around 19 times—it would be amazing to have a saved preset option.
The whole of the bed is warmed width ways and long ways.
This blanket is wonderful it fits the double bed perfectly and the elastic keeps it in place. The blanket fits right to the edge of the bed so leaves no cold patches down the side, you can stretch out and be wonderfully warm the whole of the bed, the controls are great you can pinpoint certain areas to heat if you so choose, the whole bed is warm and the blanket itself is lovely and thick and warm. I would buy again it is a wonderful buy well worth its money.
So good we bought another for daughter at uni
Ok so it's dearer than others, but you certainly get what you paid for. It's as warm as anyone would need it to be (at top temp setting, you def wouldn't be able to sleep!) - needs 15 mins to warm up. It's comfortable. Fits and warms the whole bed. Has a built in "skirt" so it doesn't slide around. The cable connector to the blanket is flat and out of the way, deff not the brick that other heated blankets have.
Good Quality and Works Well
Now part way through winter and very happy with the blanket but not quite five star. The reason being that compared with the old blanket the controllers could be better. They work and have a neat little display showing the settings but the button action is poor so it can be a little hit and miss. If the button operation was more positive these would definitely be five star.
