Brilliant for us.
It has been a brilliant addition to our kitchen,we still need to use the cooker for bigger food cooking,but for smaller basic stuff it's ace, very quick at getting to temperature and simmers very well,just wipe clean and looks nice on the side, only negative is,unit could use a designated on off switch,we turn off at wall, you can easily turn on when cleaning it, but we wouldn't be without it.👍👍
Cusimax CMIP-B180 Infrared Cooker
The Cusimax CMIP-B180 twin hob cooker came to the rescue when my gas hob decided to fail a few days before Christmas. In the middle of a Coronavirus Pandemic no chance to buy a new gas hob and find a gas fitter for Christmas Day. I received the Cusimax hob within one day of ordering the unit and was very impressed by its sleek appearance and its functionality. Simple to use, efficient in the job it was designed to do and easy to clean. What more could you want.
Perfect for what we needed
We're going to be getting our kitchen done later this year but the current gas hob runs off of LPG bottles and there appears to be a leak somewhere. So rather than pay for something which won't be needed in a couple of months we thought we'd get this portable hob. It's absolutely perfect for us for now, it heats up quickly, the controls are really smooth and easy to get the correct temperature required. We certainly don't have any complaints. Once the ktichen is done this will be very handy for some outdoor cooking too. Well worth the money.
Good for a couple or someone who doesn't cook a lot
Product is as expected. Works well, takes some minutes to really heat up but than it stays warm for some time, which I find nice. Very easy to clean and looks good with the glass instead of cast iron as some other hobs. I would recommend for a person that lives alone, or a couple that doesn't cook huge meals. I find it fine for everyday use.
Good temperature control
I really like both rings are the same size and temperature is easy to control.I have had a hob before but although it had dials with different numbers on the hob the rings were either off or full. With this one temperature is responsive and you can turn it down or up easily. It’s very quick to heat up as well. We have already cooked dinner , made pancakes and cinder toffee on it. It is more expensive than the solid ring hobs but I think on this occasion you get what you pay for. A very good little hob that came quickly and is already in use.
