I would say (as this is sold as a bare unit) that it's probably only best to buy if you already have some black and decker batterys. They can be expensive separately. Add on that and a charger if you dont have those already and you could be looking at more like £100 spent in total to get it going. Just something to bare in mind if you're new to power tools or if this is your first cordless buy.

All good yes the battery life isn't great but I have 6 batteries as have many other B&D products so does what I need.
could be better
its another case of buying B & D sandpaper because other brands dont line up with the holes . for me, the big thing is there is NO speed control.
Very efficient and easy to use
Bought this sander originally to sand down some oak furniture that need refinishing. Great on flat or convex surfaces - easy to use and does a very clean job. Found all sorts of other uses since. Not designed for tight internal corners but that's fine.

We used this product to sand down our beach hut where there is no acsess to power did a fantastic job
