Very effective, thorough clean.
It's absolutely worth the money, ESPECIALLY if it's on sale/offer. The suction is so powerful and this proved that all of my carpets that I believed to be clean were in fact not. All the pile is back up on my rugs, I filled a whole pod just from one slow pass around the house. Had to switch to lower suction on the deep pile rugs or I couldn't push it around 😅. Love the way it comes apart to make cleaning the stairs easier. It's saved me so much hassle lugging a big thing around and it's so efficient. Long cord too which really helps! All round brilliant vacuum
So, I've had this new Shark for a week now, and used it 2/3 times. It took a lot of looking and reading of reviews to decide on my 'downstairs' vacuum, but in the end I decided to pay more than I wanted, to get something I wanted! I have a Vax upstairs, and it only gets used about once a month (there's only 2 adults here, and we don't make much mess!) - but it's heavy beast and not suitable for me to use downstairs, which I do more frequently. Great vacuum
Really pleased with this Hoover. It's light and easy to use, has good suction, and picks up dust well. It does carpet really well and It feels sturdy. Cleaning is much quicker now however sometimes it can get a little stuck and need to pull quite hard to move it again. Great value for the price. It's easy to clean and disassemble.
Overall good performance
There are a couple of things that drive me nuts, which I can live with, but feel they could have been better designed. The first is doing the stairs while holding the canister - the hose isn't long enough to angle the brush around the corners without having to create quite a bit of tension, so it gets quite uncomfortable after a while on both wrists. I could plug the brush onto the handle, but that would mean a lot of bending and probably an aggravated back.
The thing works just fine!
Emptying it is easy peasy, lemon squeezy. The only thing I could criticise, is that the actual dust/cat hair/old toenails collection receptacle is a tad small. Lots of trips out to the garbage bin, but, its easy to empty, with a trapdoor mechanism so you don't even need to stick your hand in among the unmentionables to empty it out.

This vac is phenomenal! Ignore all of the reviews about the strong suction. While it does have very strong suction, you can totally control this by using the valve on the handle. I am still so grossed out by the amount of dust that this thing picks up. I got it to replace my big old heavy dyson that has obviously not been doing a good job for some time. The functionality of this little beast is great! It gets into every nook and cranny and it's super fast to swap out the tools on the go. I'm using it with a UK to AUS adapter in Australia.
Great hoover, lightweight, powerful, easy to empty
Really happy with this hoover. Needed a new one as my cordless one would always run out of battery. Reviews mention the cord is annoying but not found it an issue and is also long. Suction is really good and love the hardfloot/carpet option. Also really easy to empty and is lightweight!
Really good quality and useful tools
Really good quality, seems like the best hoover for the price considering it's versatility with the tools and lift-off function, I hoovered very recently before and my floors were "clean" but after using this for the first time it obviously picked up loads of dust etc that my old hoover couldn't get, easy and fast to assemble, suction is strong and sometimes too strong if you have it on high, I hear durability isn't as good as other brands and repairing can be harder but so far it seems solid
