Then I used the delay timer to make some wholemeal bread with dates and walnuts, which was fabulous, and the evidence of the paddle was minimal, in that it only affected the bottom of one slice.

I have now made quite a few loaves of bread and have been delighted with all of them, as a bread maker I just used my own recipe and weighed it all out into the scales. As I make the bread overnight on the timer the noise is not an issue as we don’t hear it starting up and have great fresh bread for lunch. And if I have made one during the day my husband says it’s no louder than my stand mixer. I was worried as I heard the blade can leave large holes in the loaf, I haven’t found that and as long as I take the loaf out of the tin as soon as it’s finished baking there is just a very small slit i

Robust quality bread machine

I received my bread machine only yesterday and got to work with it, very happy with the results but i had to read the manual for a while and the on/ off is not so clear if it’s a long or short press.

So easy to use

I’ve had this machine a few weeks now and it makes great bread, both from ingredients and from a packet though the white Asda brand came out a bit odd, but the Wrights brand (all flavours) is amazing. All bread will take around 3 hrs from raw flour to baked yummy bread. But the machine has many settings for lots of different type of bakes both quick bread and a paused version. Favourite bit for me is the dispenser which chucks in nuts, dried fruits etc in fact as long as its a dry none melting item it’ll put it in at the opportune moment saves you standing over the machine waiting to put it in

Very happy with this and it is quite quiet.

This is working brilliantly. It is quite quiet, the main reason I bought it, is because it has a 90 minute dough setting, which I use regularly. I watch a Youtuber (Robyn on the farm) and she uses a bread maker and she uses the same setting for dough. Lakeland are an excellent company, I have been using them for years. It is not too heavy to slide forward for a person who has arthritis.
