Not intrusive at all, a great addition for safety
The folding bed rail is sturdy and well-built, feeling safe and secure, especially at night, as it prevents any chance of falling out of bed. It has the right width to stop main body rolling off the bed but still allows helping yourself up and then getting out of the bed without having to fold it away.

Well constructed
Dad has Parkinson's and struggles to get into bed, this protrudes from under the mattress and metal bars are present where he needs to get into bed. First use he freaked about these bars touching his legs, so had to remove it.
