Amazing Suction, Small & Light, Quiet

The vacuum is super lightweight and easy to manoeuvre around when hoovering. It is on wheels which makes it even easier!! The vacuum is bagless and there is an easy compartment to open and remove to empty. The compartment is not very big, but as it is so easy to empty it is not an issue at all.

Very good suction

The length of the “pole” (I’m having a brain fart and cannot remember the word) is adjustable which is great for different heights. It can also be removed to have the open tube or you can put the small brush accessory on. I have it on the shortest setting in my pictures.

The biggest issue in my opinion relates to the filter on the underside of the appliance; there is a red catch mechanism that has to slide to allow the cover to be removed; unfortunately the surfaces of the catch are smooth so although it can slide releasing the cover there is no easy way of lifting the cover as I found my finger slipped off of the smooth surface; there needs to be ribs in the plastic or other material that can be gripped by the fingertips so that as the catch is operated it can also be pulled away from the chassis of the appliance.

Bought a few weeks ago and still loving it

The normal head didn't have a roller brush on it so it MIGHT not pick up pet hair as much as a roller brush would, but it's doing ok. I use a rubber broom once a month to pick up any other hairs that might be embedded into the carpet.

Lightweight vacuum cleaner with good suction power.

It has very good suction power which can be adjusted if you find yourself working a bit too hard moving the brush up and down, and also on the brush itself there's a setting which you can easily change with your foot, allowing you to select between carpets and hard flooring, this also influencing how easy it is to go over certain areas.

Great no-frills vacuum cleaner from a trusted brand

This AEG 6000 Bagless Cleaner is a reasonably lightweight mains vacuum cleaner- much light in fact that my old Shark floor model. I would almost suggest that it's a bit 'old-fashioned' in appearance, certainly compared to the many brightly coloured products being produced these days by some of the leading brands. However it's not old-fashioned in performance - I found it highly efficient in use, easily maneuverable, and easy to store given its compact size. It's also useful that it is bagless, so no ongoing costs to consider post-purchase (well, apart from the filters).

I’m really impressed with this vacuum cleaner. I wasn’t expecting to like it quite as much as I do, but it has turned out to be really convenient and comfortable to use. It’s compact and easy to move around the house, and I find it very straightforward to handle while cleaning. I also really like the bagless design – there are no bags to keep buying or changing, and emptying the container is simple and practical.

Strong suction on normal setting. Max setting can lift the carpet. Really gets floors clean. Not too heavy to lift.
