I have cooked 3 wholemeal breads and the machine is working as described very silent, easy to understand the process and recipes. I definitely recommend it if you’re planning to cook a healthy bread or other stuff on it .

Easy to use, great bread!
So far we've tried basic white, rapid white, and wholemeal loaves, as per the recipe book. All of them have turned out absolutely perfect and very delicious! There's no way we would go back to supermarket bread now - the difference is just incredible. The loaves it produces are about 3/4 the size of a supermarket loaf, ish.
Lives up to its good reputation
I bought this, the basic model, the SD-B2510, so for one thing it doesn't add extra ingredients partway through the process; you have to add these manually. For brioche loaves for example the machine pauses for five minutes at the time to add the extra ingredients (more butter in this case). If you miss the five minute window the machine carries on as if you had added them. So you need to be there. That's a relatively minor issue and of course doesn't apply for standard white or wholemeal loaves. For white loaves I added 25% wholemeal (using the setting for 'white loaf' and it turned out perfe
Review after 3 months use
I have used this breadmaker for the past 3 months to assess before writing the review. We have used Panasonic breadmakers constantly since 1999,hardly ever buying bread from a shop.

Four loaves in after buying this one and the results are excellent. Two medium white loaves and two with ‘Hovis Best of Both’ flour. The latter reminds me of what brown bread used to taste like in the 1950’s &’60’s.
