Hose is fine, attachments not so much
The hose works as expected, bought this for it's smaller size to fit a gap between buildings. Ideal space saving hose pulls out and retracts perfectly. The only small letdown is their own attachments aren't the best but as I bought it for the hose I'm happy, as I have my own hose lock attachments, same fittings.
Excellent value and sturdy item
With the hoselock unit you would hear 3 clicks for every metre or so you pulled out, and to lock the hose you would stop pulling on the second click when you had the desired length. This unit makes no sound and I had to judge and feel for the "lock".
Excellent Quality Hose
Very impressed with the quality of this item. The hose is really strong and long enough to go around the house and reach the very end of the rear garden and the front garden. It’s heavy so my son had to install it for me but with the help of a couple of heavy duty bolts it was done in no time, he did not want to trust the enclosed fittings as others have mentioned. It is very easy to pull out and a slight tug and it winds itself back in without any problems and at a very competitive price by comparison to other hoses so all in all it’s a clear winner for me.
