Excellent Reel - Well worth the money
Firstly this reel is absolutely fantastic it comes with all of the attachments to plug into your outside tap, it also comes with a template on the box itself which makes installation so much easier. also the wall attachment can be detached from the reel to make installation easier plus getting to the screws to attach to the wall.
A good quality automatic rewind hose pipe system
Before I moved to Norfolk I owned one of these for 15 years at my previous address and was very happy with it. When I left it was still going strong and had withstood all those years of sun and cold with only a little colour fading and no sign of the plastic going brittle. Nothing went wrong except for the nozzle, which started leaking after a few years, but I don't treat any of my nozzles well and have to replace them now and again regardless of the hose system.
Worth the investment
Works really well. I’ve had 3 stretchy hozes that never lasted very long (non-branded). Thought it was worth investing in one of these and I’m so glad I did. I’m too lazy to keep a roll in the shed and bring it out when I need it.
Good bit of kit.
Genuine purchase. It's a big design but very sturdy. Once on the wall you get used to it and it stores the hose very neatly. Very easy to use just pull the hose out. It locks in the out position. To rewind just pull the hose and it does it all for you. It lays the hose neatly on the drum.
Great hose, bad screws!
I recommend buying some better quality M5 x 50mm long screws from ScrewFix. Make sure you have a standard fixed pozi screwdriver, as the force required to screw them into the wall, may cause issues if you're using an unstable ratcheting driver.
