After one month of use
Cleaning and maintenance: I watched a great youtube video by a guy who tests vacuums (search for this or a similar model and you will find him) – he gets very enthusiastic and really rated the Vax. What he really liked was the fact that you can take it to pieces very quickly and clean everything (he does this in the video). Since keeping the thing clean prolongs life and suction, this was an important factor in the buying decision.
Excellent vacuum.
This one, just like the other, feels well designed and very good quality. The suction power is excellent and the vacuum, in my opinion, is lightweight and easy to move around. The power cord is very long, giving it an excellent range although you do have to wind the cord tightly when putting it away to prevent it from un-spoolling due to it's length. The additional extension hose is also a very good idea to give greater reach if vacuuming higher up places.
Excellent purchase
Great value for money. It cleans really well and picks up far more than I expected, especially with pet hair. Easy to use, and does a great job on carpets and hard floors. Slightly on the heavy side compared to my previous cordless. But very pleased with it and would definitely recommend.
Best vacuum I’ve owned so far!
Fantastic suction! The amount of fluff and dirt it sucked up is absolutely amazing! Never had a vacuum as good! The cable is really long, it can get in the way but that’s not a problem. The hose comes with 2 parts so if you need it longer you can do that, can be a pain connecting it but I didn’t have much of a problem. Can be a bit difficult to move around (turn corners, etc) so for older people this may be hard but I managed it fine. I think it’s absolutely amazing and at a really good price too! I’m so glad I chose this vacuum.
Excellent suction for pet hair
Previously had a Dyson animal and think this is much better. The only issue is when you want to use the handheld attachment it’s quite fiddly and you have to unplug various bits for that which isn’t ideal and why it isn’t 5*.
